Frequently when I turn on the computer I get message from Webroot about a suspect action.

This notice contains a fairly long path. I don't know what this means.  If I say IGNORE then I don't know what risk this entails.  How can I determine what the suspect action/app is?

Hi bluesman33

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Would you be able to give us some indication of the nature of the message and/or of the path that is referred to?

The only one that I can think of that one is likely to get at boot up is one relating to the Firewall, i.e., WSA has detected something attempting to communicate with the Internet and WSA asking you to provide guidance as to whether to allow this.

This often happens on first boot after installing a new program or updating an existing program, etc.  If this is the case then you should have option to Allow Once and Allow Always.  Does that ring a bell/look familiar?

If so then the solution is very simple, i.e., do you want to allow the application to connect once (that will mean you will get the prompt each boot) or always (you will not be prompted again) or Block which means what it means, etc.

If this is what yo are seeing then the long path you are seeing will be that of the object/exe that is trying to make the connection and therefore you should be able to determine if you should allow it or not.

Well, I have made some assumptions here, which I hope are correct, but if not or if you have further questions please do come back to let us know.
