Hi,

I've noticed the dreaded "red X" has been showing up again on my task bar (i have Millenium).  The only way to get rid of it is to reinstall WR each day i use the computer.

(I've asked WR about this prob. in the past, and it's soluitions worked for a time, but now things are back to usual.)

My main concern at this point is "how can i make sure i have the lastest software" when i reinstall each AM?

Any help you can give would be appreciated--including if you have a solution to not having to reinstall every AM to get rid of the red X. Thank you.~Rick

It should be fine but I just wanted you to ask Support once again! Webroot Customer Service As it says here:

System Requirements

SecureAnywhere AntiVirus runs on most supported systems, even slow or older computers.http://www.webroot.com/shared/images/v2/icons/features/pc_devices-128x64.pngPC & MacOperating Systems
  • Microsoft® Windows® XP 32- and 64-bit SP2, SP3
  • Windows Vista® 32-bit (all Editions), Windows Vista SP1, SP2 32- and 64-bit (all Editions)
  • Windows 7 32- and 64-bit (all Editions), Windows 7 SP1 32- and 64-bit (all Editions)
  • Windows 8 32- and 64-bit
  • Windows 8.1 32- and 64-bit
  • Windows 10 32- and 64-bit
  • Mac OS® X v.10.7.3 “Lion”
  • Mac OS X v. 10.8 "Mountain Lion"
  • Mac OS X v. 10.9 "Mavericks"
  • Mac OS X v.10.10 "Yosemite"
  • Mac OS X v.10.11.1 "El Capitan"
Minimum System Requirements
  • Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® family, or AMD® K6/Athlon™/Duron™ family, or other compatible processor
  • 128 MB RAM (minimum)
  • 10 MB Hard Disk Space
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and higher, Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and higher (32-bit only), Google Chrome™ 10.0 or higher
  • Internet access
But it now protects 64bit Browsers now as well.

Thanks,

Daniel

How about contacting support again to see if Millenium is still supported? Also when using this download link it's always the latest which is at v9.0.8.72 at this time: http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe

And always look here to see the latest versions: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/support/support-consumer-release-notes

Thanks,

Daniel,

thanks for your prompt response and good advice...

Obviously, WR supported Mellineum when i purchased it, it's on my computer...are you saying they may have stopped updating and therefore i am not properly protected?  (i've paid for it thru most of '16)?
