Hello, I have two files in a my documents folder which are mysterious, zodanohyhu._SY and ypudijakyt
Both file are dated on the same day, August 3, 2008. This is my old XP machine which I plan to replace in 2016. Thanks very much!

Since they are located in the Documents folder, they are not any sort of system file, or most likely anything else you really need. Not meaning to be funny here, I am serious in this: it almost sounds like a young child or pet accidentally managed to rename a couple files in your Documents folder. I have seen that happen before.
It should be quite safe to remove them if that is what you are meaning.
I do doubt they are malware or 'bad', as WSA would have picked up on them long ago.

Mr VIP, thank you sir. Your reply is very helpful and reassuring. As an aside, until I discovered that it was happening, my wife allowed her nephew to play fantasy football and all manner of other things on my old XP machine. What harm could it do was the response. Huh! Again, I am in your debt.
I have kids... and pets LOL. LIke I said, I have seen it happen :)
