I am using webroot on my old sony vaio but my lap top is still showing malware and cookies. I thought webroot will be good enough to emove them but it is not. I am running scans but still this is showing the problem. can i get any guidance in that?

Firstly, WSA does not deal with or remove cookies...that is by design, as cookies are not considered to be a harmful thing. If you are looking to remove that sort of thing you will need to install separate product.
Secondly, exactly what problems is WSA showing as a result of the scans and how you know that there is still an issue? Would you be able to provide more information so that we can help you with this?
