I've used FastCAD for years. It has a dialog box for changing font parameters like height, line spacing, etc. Webroot blocks changes that I try to make in this dialog box. Even when I disable (temporarily) Realtime Shield the changes get blocked. If I uninstall Webroot the blocking stops, so Webroot is the culprit.
I've tried <Utilities><System Control><Start Control Active Processes> and found that FCW32.EXE was being monitored, so I changed it to Allow. This shows up properly in <PC Security><Block/Allow Files>, but it made no difference.
I had the same problem earlier with Endpoint Protection (which we've switched away from). It was solved by Tech Support when they white listed FastCAD for me. I've begun the dialog with Tech Support again, but the weekend has interrupted. Is there really no way I can unblock the program on my own?
How can I stop blocking changes by a legitimate program?
