I am still receiving the same message---Symanted endpoint protection must 1st be removed.  How can I get windows 10 installed.  Could trhis be refering to my Web root protection?

I am tryuing to update from a screen offer to upodate to windows 10.

Thank You.

Hello F22Raptor,

Welcome to the Webroot Community

Webroot is not the cause. Please refer below:

Here specifically is the Norton Removal Tool:
https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?docid=kb20080828154508EN_EndUs...

Hope this helps?

Yes as Norton leaves behind many files and drivers the reason for the removal tool @ suggested.

I just noticed that there is a different way to uninstall the Endpoint version see here: https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH184988.html and here: https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO74877.html

Thanks,
