Hi. I recently switched from Avast. I gotta say this WebRoot program is neat and simple!
Only problem is...how do I know if my shields are actively working? I know they're turned on, but...I'm paranoid here lol.
How do I know if Webroot Shields are actively scanning?

Well, it is like any AV/IS/AM application...how did you know that Avast was working? You did not other than it said that it's defences were active and that tis the same with Webroot...there has to be a level of trust that if the Shields arte on then they are protecting you.
All I can say to reassure you is that I have been sing WSA since it was first developed and marketed and I have NEVER been infected by any malware what so ever. If WSA is showing GREEN then yo are very, very well protected.
