How do I remove Webroot Secure anywhere from Windows 10

I was trying to add webroot to a new PC with windows 10 and logged in to my account.  Clicked on add a PC then clicked on download.  I ran the download and webroot opened but then when I tried to scan or set the firewall i got a message that my subscription expired.  I recently renewed and have almost a year.

I tried going to uninstall but it didn't show up on the list of programs.

I tried deleting the download file but got a message that it is open in the System.

I tried loading from a disk version but the already installed version popped up.

any help would be appreciated.

did you buy it from BestBuy or directly from Webroot? If via BestBuy check with them first. Having the proof of purchase or a copy from the payment transfer's always a good idea

Hi VickiM

Welcome to the Community Forums.

May I ask if your renewal was a 'real' renewal, i.e., you added additional time to your current subscription, and so had no new keycode or if it was a 'pseudo' renewal, i.e., you purchase a new subscription, received a new keycode and entered that into WSA and activated it.

What you are seeing may well depend on your answer to the above so we await your response with interest.
