Hi c1lived

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If you are referring to the Security Code that one enters as part of one's sign on to the online console (HERE) all you need to do is to go to the site and click on the 'Forgotten Password' link to the right of the 'Login' button.

On the page next displayed you will have options to either your password and/or your security code. Just click on the appropriate link and follow the instructions on screen.

If I have gotten the wrong 'Security Code' then please post back with more details and we will see if we can help further.

Regards, Baldrick

Baldrick:  The personal password is one I establish by selecting a question and answer password, i.e. Who is your favorite president?" that follows the entry of a correct pass-word and for which I have lost the answer.  I do thank you for trying.

Hi c1lived

Thanks for clarifying...never having had to set up that sort of Security Code I was not aware that there was such an option...I suppose that one lives and learns. In relation to what is that Security Code used, if I may ask? ;)

As I've observed via 'Hand-on' trail and error webroot is using a two or three part security entry system:  1 is standard Password, 2 is a pen number (Not used here) and 3 is/are a sceret question with your specific answer.  It is the 3rd part that I do not recall nor am able to locate the answer.  Does that help?

It is used to double confirm you are who you proclaim to be.

Hi c1lived

I don't doubt that but exactly which functionality are you using/trying to access when you are asked for this 'Security Code'?  As I said before I have not come across this feature, at least not knowingly, and am struggling to work out exactly what it is that is causing you your issue.

Please describe where you go, in what and what steps you take to generate the request for the 'Security Code' you are referring to.

Many thanks in anticipation of your clarification on this.
