how to clean an infected usb
I would like to know if there's a way to clean an infected usb or I should just throw it out?

You can scan a USB drive with WSA.
Insert the USB device
Open Windows Explorer/File Explorer
Right click on the USB drive and select Scan with WSA
WSA should scan the drive and remove any infected files found.
