How to I temporarily disable antivirus protection
I need to temporarily disable antivirus protection to install some hardware. How do I do it?

Welcome to the Webroot Community.
All you need to do is right-click on the Webroot icon in your system tray and select "Shut down Protection". You may need to enter a captcha as well. To re-enable go to start menu/all programs/Webroot SecureAnywhere.
