HI,
I had webroot for the last year and it recently expired..I got a great deal on a new disk with a new key code. However, I cannot find where to type it in to my expried webroot to activate it...Do i need to uninstal an reinsall webroot compltely?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
To enter a new keycode you should click on the gear/cog to the right of the 'My Account' tab in the main application panel. That hould open a new panel and on the right hand side of that you will see a large white field under a heading of 'Activate a Keycode'. You just enter the keycode in that field and click the 'Activate' butoon, making sure that you are online before you do so...and that should activate the new keycode.
You are posting in the Antivirus forum so I am guessing that is the version that you currently have (expired)? And if the new keycode is for the same version...all OK. But id the new keycode is for another version then entering the keycode will enable the additional fucntionality related to the new version.
Also, you said that your existing keycode had expired. That is OK as you are covered by WSA for a grace period after expiry before the protection ceases. But please not for the future, if you have a few days left on a keycode and you enter and activate a new one, then BOTH keycodes will be active; the expiring one will remain so until there are no more days left on it and willl run concurrently to the new keycode/subscription, so it is worth waiting until the last possible moment before activating a new keycode. This applies to the Webroot version, not to the Best Buy version which requires that the current keycode expires before you can activate a new one.
