Hello tj,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

First of all do you see the Webroot icon in your system tray? If so right click View Status.

Are you having troubles signing into your Account Console? The Account Console will tell you what PC is being protected/Managed by signing in with your email and password.

If you have not yet created an online account, click here for instructions on how to create one. You will be asked to create a Password and Personal Security Code. We highly recommend writing these down for future reference.

Now you say you are getting unwanted pop ups. Can you give me more information with what the exact pop ups you are getting?

To help with these issues it's best to install an Ad Blocker for your Browsers:

For Firefox Adblock Edge: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-edge/?src=ss

For Chrome µBlock : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/%C2%B5block/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?utm_source=ch...

For Internet Explorer https://adblockplus.org/

As for Webroot not detecting Malware/ Viruses is not likely.

If you are having troubles with Webroot not detecting a virus or/ and having issues with your Account Console you can certainly submit a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription and they can check your PC out for you.

Hope this helps,

kind Regards,
