HP security call a number
I was trying to log onto Houz.com and a screen came up from HP security saying someone was trying to install malware onto my computer and to call this number at once 844-332-6122 to get the problem fixed. I called but did not do anything because I did not know if it was for real or not. Now I am worried my computer my be infected. Can you tell me if I should call them back and have them fix my computer. I ran webrot to remove anything. Thank you.

THIS IS A SCAM!! Neither Microsoft nor any other company sends emails, pop ups, or phone calls of any kind advising that you may have a problem. That phone number is a Scam! Do not call them back to fix your computer!
If you clicked anything links, allowed them to remote into your computer, or went to any web sites please submit a Trouble Ticket ASAP. (Now would be a good idea....)
