is there a section for complete newbies' to WebRoot..... like perhaps a section that tells me what i should do now that i loaded the software on my PC and my Laptop. I thought that when I downloaded the software would take over and all I would need to do is hit the scan button.
apparently that is not the case! can someone please take pity on me and advise me as to what i need to do to get the software to scan for virus on Internet Explorer Program?

After installing Webroot it will scan everyday automatically. There is no need to manually run the scan.
It will also update to the newest build whenever that is available.
