Must I remove Avast free antivirus now that I have installed webroot?
I am currently running Avast free antivirus software. Should I remove it form my computers.

Yes Webroot is compatible with other AV software, however Webroot is very light whereas the others are not.
Webroot SecureAnywhere can either replace or work alongside your
existing antivirus software.
Webroot SecureAnywhere is fully compatible with other mainstream antivirus products and
will work alongside any existing antivirus software to detect and remove any threats it
misses.
You will not be asked to uninstall your existing antivirus when installing Webroot
SecureAnywhere.
Many of the users here on the Community, however, tend to feel that there is no need to use more than one AV solution in an active state at the same time. That is my own opinion on the matter. That being said, there are many who DO use WSA along with another solution.
