To emphasize what Sherry said, it would help to know what the name of the virus is, and a bit more information as to what is telling you that you have an infection.
Is it a normal Windows pop up? Does it look like a Webroot notification?
When does the warning appear? Does it appear at any time, only when you have a browser open, when you are checking email, etc etc. Anything extra you can tell us would be very helpful 🙂
