I am trying to renew my webroot with a cd from best buy good for three computers i cannot get it to acceqt the code for this computeer. what am i doing wrong.

You say that yo uare trying to 'renew' your subcription with a new one having purchase a new copy of WSA from Best Buy? If that is the case and you have WSA already in stalled (the Best Buy version) then there is no need to use the CD. Just enter the new keycode as follows:
I am not running the Best Buy version but hopefully you get the picture as to what to do.
Also, try to make sure that you let your existing subscription to almost zero as if you enter the new code with days left you will lose the remaining days on your current subscription.
