My name is Marcio, I am from Brazil, and I live in GA.
I bought a new Webroot Secure Anywhere Internet Security to replace the old one that was installed two years ago. After I installed it gave only 30 days of protection. What should I do to get the entire year of protection?

Hello there, welcome to the Community!

It sounds to me like you purchased at Best Buy perhaps?  The Best Buy Subscription Services version allows for the software to run for up to 30 days if anything went wrong at the time of store at the time of purchase.  There are a couple of things to try:

  1. Get the key code from the package and recheck it.  It is VERY common for users to mistake a 0 (number) for a O (Letter O), and I (Capital i ) for a 1, etc.  Open WSA, click the gear tool next to My Account.  Re-enter the key code in the box provided and click the Activate button.
  2. Look at the original purchase receipt.  Make sure that the WSA is listed. If it is not listed, it did not get scanned in correctly and so the key code will not work.
  3. Again on the receipt, locate on the reciept look for 'services purchased' or something like that.  The WSA will be listed there, and it will have a long serial number starting with WBR.  This number will match the Best Buy Serial Number on the lower left corner on the back of the WSA box.  If the numbers to not match you will need to call Best Buy at the number below.
  4. If neither of these works, call 1800-GEEK-SQUAD  They are staffed 24 hours a day.
I hope this helps!
