Hello mari,

Please Contact Support and they can fix this up for you quite easily, This is free of charge.

Because I'm not sure if you want to go into safe mode.

Please let us know the outcome or if you want to try in safe mode.

Best Regards,

Welcome to the Community,

Have you tried these steps below?

To uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere, follow the instructions below.
 1. Shut down SecureAnywhere by clicking the Webroot icon  in the menu bar and selecting Shut Down SecureAnywhere. 2. Open the Finder by clicking the Finder icon in the dock.
 3. Open the Applications directory.

Hi. I am not getting the option to shut down webroot. Therefore, it won't allow me to move it to the trash because it is saying it is open. Please advise.

I've followed the instructions you've listed, but I don't get the uninstall window, and the software doesn't uninstall.
