I cannot send an email from MS Outlook in Windows 10 with Webroot as my antivirus.

MY MS Outlook is my preferred email. All my settings are correct, but it refused to send an email. Getting them in is no problem.the only thing that we cannot seem to get into to check is the Webroot settings. It seems to be dropping the internet conection out before an email can send.  Has anyone else had this problem?

I had this problem with Outlook when I upgraded to Windows 10, the information on this link Answers microsoft.com
solved the problem for me, it's not a Webroot problem it's a problem with Windows/Outlook

        Finally someone got it! After thinking the only thing left was the antivirus, we ended up doing a scannow run from the command prompt in Administrator mode. After quite some time it finished, but a mesage flashed up that it had not completed properly.
         
        We had another go this morning and lo and behold, it found some corrupt files,  got rid of them and viola! I can email out of Outlook!
