i clicked SCAN NOW; it will NOT scan! IT'S FROZEN; why?

Does it do anything at all? Does it start to scan and then appear to freeze partway into the scan?
Try to reboot the computer and scan again and see if this helps.
If that does not help, please let us know and we will go from there.

Excellent! I love it when an easy fix works LOL, but in the event it gives you problems again, come on back and we will dig a bit deeper in.
