i downloaded trial version but have another account so just need to change the product key. how do I

Welcome to the Webroot Community.
 
Please open your WSA PC interface (click Webroot icon in system tray, near clock) and click on the gear next to My Account. Enter keycode in box on right an click Activate. You should be good to go.
