I got a message of an update on Web root saying it needed to download a program about phishing.
It said if I want to get rid of it I could by opening Firefox add ons. I don't want it. I can't find it in add ons. How can I find this update and ge rid of it?

Recheck your Firefox add-ons carefully. Make sure that you know what they all are, but the TWO that are from Webroot I strongly suggest you leave and have enabled, especially the Web Filter. The Web Filter is possibly what you are looking for, and it is an essential part of your browser protection.
While you can disable it, it is not reccomended.
