I hadWebroot home computer AND MY LAPTOP. SOMETIME THE PAST YEAR THEY TOOK IT OFF MY LAPTOP! WHY

Who was it who installed it for you?  Was it The Geek Squad and if so do you know if they installed the Best Buy version or the standard Webroot version?
 
If it was the Best Buy version then your best bet is to contact the Geek Squad about a reinstallation if you are technically unsure as to how to proceed.
 
If the standard Webroot version then you can reinstall using the following instructions:
 

• Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
• KEEP the computer online for Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
• Download a new copy HERE (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
• Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
• Let it finish it's install scan
• Reboot once again.

Actually a Webroot technician installed it for me. I was online with him when he did it. I am going to contact them by phone today. "Thanks for your help. I have my keycode. I want to know just when did they delete it and let my machine vulnerable to viruses and malware!!

Thanks for the update. If it was installed by a Webroot Support technician then then  should be no problem in reinstalling it using the instructions I provided in my previous post. You have a key code and theefore you are entitled to use it, but before you go ahead let's make absolutely sure that WSA is not lurking and it is just that the notification tray icon has not just disappeared.
 
If you are running Windows then click on the Start Menu and then either All programs or All apps, and then scroll down to the 'W' part of the list displayed. If you see a Webroot SecureAnywhere folder click on that and see if there is an entry for Webroot SecureAnywhere. If there is then WSA is still installed and if so then click on the entry which should start the app and display the main app panel.
 
If it does display the panel click on 'Adavnced Settings' (top righthand corner of the panel) and on the next panel displayed look to see if the 'Show a system tray icon' option is ticked or unticked. If unticked; tick the option, enter the CAPTCHA characters required and then Save. If ticked; untick the option, enter the CAPTCHA characters required and then Save and then immediately afterwards TICK the option and then Save.
 
Hopefully one of those manipulations will putthe the notificaiton tray icon where it should be.
 
But if WSA is really not on your system then the install instructions should get you back up and running ASAP.
