Sorry you are having problems.
Are you saying when you do a scan with Webroot AV it finds a threat? And Windows pops up asking for a Driver only when you are scanning?
What threat does Webroot find..you can look in this KB Article

As for Windows Drivers ...Do you have updated Drivers on your PC? Or is this a bad PUP claiming you need a driver?
If you have PUPs please read this Article to get rid of them.
If you can can you supply us with more information to help you resolve this. As you've said you have work to do and this can be very frustratiing for sure.
