I'm pretty sure that this is a false positive...

I just bought a new gaming mouse from Patriot https://www.viper.patriotmemory.com/viperv570blackout
 
I installed the software to be able to change DPI, rgb color, and gaming profile settings. Webroot didn't look at the program as a dangerous one upon installation and after however it did detect that the uninstall executable was "adware". I find this quite odd and are almost certain that this is a false positive as Patriot would not do anything as such. I tried selecting the "Restore" option but it still blocks it. How can I exclude it? And what do you guys think about this?

I highly recommend reaching out to our support team so they can recalssify this. They will have a few more questions to further qualify the site/software, however it's best if they work with you directly as they can gather information better.

Here is some info from the VT results and what Webroot says about the file and the MD5 Hash!

I reached out to them. They responded pretty quickly, I was surprised. They said they had taken necessary actions and marked it as "Good". I had scanned it again and it had no detections. 🙂
