I never see the software update it self
How do you know if the software has the latest issues covered or if there are bug fixes with the software. How do you get know

WSA automatically and silently updates itself. It doesn't annoy users. It take care of malware and itself. The definitions are on the cloud. No need to download. Users can work on their computers and not worry about security and updating av. And this is how it's supposed to be. WSA is fast, light and silent. :)
Just make sure you check the Automatically download and apply updates setting in Advanced Settings.
