I purchased a 2 year subscription and now it wants me to buy a new one what do I need to do to get

There is a lot on your post so lets try and decompose it for a bit of clarity:
 
1. had it for awhile free with my new computer but now it isn"t working
 
    Can you advise as to what you mean by "isn't working'? Is it not scanning or not cleaning malware or just plain not  
    responsive/opening?
 
2. I purchased a 2 year subscription
 
    From whom did you make this purchase and are you sure that it is a 2 year one? When you received confirmation of the
    purchase did you receive an email with a 20 character keycode included?
 
3. now it wants me to buy a new one
 
    How exactly are you being asked to purchase a new subscription? And is this after you have entered & activated the
    recently purchased subscription?
 
Any addiitonal information you can provide in repsonse to the above should help up to assist you re. your queries.
