I purchased a new computer because by old computer was running on Windows Vista which is no longer supported by Microsoft  and Google Chrome.
How do I install my Webroot on the new computer?
I have the install disc and KEY CODE.

Thank you for any help.

Hi RedDuck

Welcome to the Community Forums.

You do not actually need the disk as the steps below give you a link to get the very latest installer online, so please follow them closely in terms of installing WSA on the target system/machine!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online during the install to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE). Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
  • Install with the new installer, entering your Keycode when prompted to do so in the install process
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot
and that should do the job.

Let us know how you get on and if you have any further questions.

Hi folks :-)
I have a similar problem, except that I have purchased the licence for 3 computers, and have had it installed on all three for a couple of years, the problem I now have is that the one pc (a laptop belonging to my wife) has crashed and we now have a new laptop with Win 10 to replace it, and I want to install Webroot on it, but can't find out how to alter the Webroot Dash to cover the new laptop or delete the old one.... the original laptop will not be used again.
Any help will be appreciated !

Hi grumpfuttock

Well, first you should head over to the online console (HERE) and deactivate the old (and now redundant PC). Please refer to this KB Article in terms of guidance on how to do this.

Once that is done please follow the instructions I posted beforehand to install WSA on your new PC.

Hope that helps?
