I received a warning that there are threats on my Mac.

I just downloaded Webroot so I'm not too familiar with it yet.

The warning says "cleanup now to remove them", but no instructions on how to do this.

Help please.

Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Pease have a look at the Mac User Guide here http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/551/Managing-Detected-Threats

Follow the prompts to clean up now..Then Webroot will do another scan to make sure the threats are taken care of.

Do let us know if you need more help.

Kind Regards,

? Do you have a screen like this saying you have a threat?

This (screen above) is exactly the threat message screen that I see and it never goes away ... despite the scan saying No Threats detected. I want green!

Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Please look at this Mac User Guide that explains what the red means. (Red means one of more critical items needs your attention.)

If Webroot is not detecting any threats then have you restarted you Mac to see if the GUI is still red? Would you do another scan if so?

Alo have you checked in Quarantine (click on cog/gear symbol to right of Mac Security tab and then on the Quarantine tab)? Are there any threats listed there?

If nothing is found in Quarantine then you could try to uninstall/reinstall WSA itself but because you may have an actual threat I think that in this circumstance that it is best to Open a Support Ticket to advise Support of the situation you have and hopefully they can assist you in tracking down this issue.

EDIT: ? I forgot to mention that support is a free service with an active Webroot subscription.

Hope this helps?
