Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
IMO WSA's Optimizer is very good at what it does and it's only a very, very minor registry cleaner even if you could call it that. And Webroot Knows that Microsoft suggests not to use any major registry cleaners as they can do more harm than good: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/kb/2563254 so in this case I would not worry about what WSA cleans in any sense to the registry as I run daily without issues ever.
