I seem to have developed a virus in the Google Chrome site.
A virus or malware has gotten into the Google Chrome program and will not let me use it until I pay a ransome to them. Can you fix this???

If I may just add to what Sherry has suggested...but I have been doing some research and have come across this post at the Goggle Support Forums that may be of use to you. I do not know how effective this would be but it seems to suggest that it is for precisely what you have described...an infection of your instance of the Chrome browser so you may lie to try this before you contact Webroot Support?
Having said that if yo feel in any way unsure about this then please go straigh to Webroot Support...this is always your safest bet in case of any doubts.
