I use an accountability program for monitoring internet usage. Webroot conflicts and signs me out

I use an accountability program that monitors internet usage.  Apparently Webroot perceives this as a threat and it is continually disconnecting us from the web.  It requires a router restart, computer reboot, and resign in every time we wish to sign into the internet.  The software provider thinks the only solution is to discontinue Webroot.  Can you help
