Just got a bizarre screen stating that I had a major malware problem. They wanted $200 to fix problem and sell me a different virus protection software--Trend Micro. I have had many hard drive crashes in the past year and lost untold amounts of data. Since I refused their service, they recommend I take the computer to Staples immediately because I have an impending crash. I just had this computer rebuilt from the ground up. Should I be concerned. Webroot is not finding anything.
If computer has malware prior to installation of Webroot, will it remove it?
