If I upgrade webroot, will it REMOVE viruses and malware?
If I upgrade webroot, will it REMOVE viruses and malware? Is this a 1 year subscription, or can I save it to disk?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Whichever version of WSA you have you have the same core protection and malware detection/removal (which includes viruses amongst other nasties), so upgrading only gives you different ancillary features (please see this page for comparative information).
Depending on the version you have will depend the base subscription period but 1 year is the minimum though you can get an extend period for more money.
Not sure what youmean by "can I save it to disk"? Please precise.
