I'm very surprised that a moderator has yet to address this question. If they have contacted you directly I apologize. If they haven't, I think its about time someone does. Id also like to know the answer.

Hi bobodude

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I am not a moderator but rather a volunteer and will try to assist.

Would you be able to advise as to exactly what these 17 threats are and whether they were detected by WSA or by some other security app?

I should say that WSA's focus is the detection and removal of active malware, i.e., the real time protection elements of WSA whereas the scan is a passive protection element and it is possible that malware has insinuated itself onto your system but has not gone active, etc. Having said that it is all conjecture until we know a bit more as to exactly what the 'threats' are?
