installed software yet my laptop never auto scanned and it does not appear in the pc security list
just completed the intall yet my laptop never auto scanned and does not show up in the pc security tab. shows zero protected still

Welcome to the Webroot Community.
Sometimes when adding Webroot to a new PC it can take a little while for the new PC to show up in the console. Running a scan usually expedites the process, but I have had to wait 2-3 hours sometimes for it to happen.
How long has it been since installing? Have you rebooted since installing?
