Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would you mind following these instructions below to eliminate whether Webroot is the problem?

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

If you continue to have issues then you can submit a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription.

H Feby.

Sorry to hear that the clean install didn't help.

Would you please click on the gear/cog symbol to the right of the Identity Protection tab in the main app panel, and then click on the Application Protection tab, then look down the list of of apps under the 'Application' heading, for the one (or more) that relates to Internet Explorer and see if its listed there

When and if you find it there please make sure that the entry for it/ is set to 'Protect', and see if that helps to resolve the issue.  If that does not then change the setting(s) to 'Allow' and again see if that changes anything/alleviates the issue.

Otherwise please let us know if Webroot Support resolves your issue.

Kind Regards,

There were two entrys there and they both said protect, so I moved them to allow and that did the trick.  Thank you very much for your help. I appreciate it, and so does my wife.  Floyd

In order for the Identity Shields to work correctly, the browsers should be marked as "Protect" instead of Allow or Block.  If you had to change it to Allow, there might be an issue that Support should take a look at.

I'm seeing others having this issue on Wilders so support is the way to go as I don't see any issues myself.

Thanks,

Daniel ;)
