    We had a popup box appear on our computer screen saying we needed to download an update or delete the program, checked the programs on computer and it showed that it had only been added to system on 1/15/2015.

    Well if you haven't installed the software on the machine yourself, I'd be skeptical of an update window.  Feel free to contact our support if you want them to verify anything.
