Is it possible to have WSAC scan links in emails?
+8Is it possible to have WSAC scan questionable links in emails without having to open them? For ecample, I've just received an email from a college friend I haven;t really spoken with in a long time. I'm certain the email is bogus and that the link is at least spyware, but being able to submit it for investigation could be advantageous.

Remember to be cautious, if an email is malicious it might have attached items which may attempt to infect your computer.

Malicious e-mails usually contain a link or an attachment (file) and text inside mail incites you to click on them, if you click on a link or an attachment WSA will scan them on execution and if any malicious code or behaviour is recognized by WSA it will block them from running. The power of WSA is that it scans files on execution what is very smart solution. The intact file even being infected or being a source of infection is harmless, it may be dangerous only when executed but there is WSA to take care then.
WSA is a very smart Antivirus and does not waste time scanning emailsso have a look at this video to see what happens when WSA misses a virus.
