Is it safe to download free Wondershare video converter software? Viruses? Downsides?
Is it safe to download free Wondershare video converter software? Viruses? Downsides? I don't know how to know if any particular free sw is safe. Is there a way to download and use Webroot as I do so to ensure contained?

I have not personally heard of there being any issues with this software and I believe that Wondershare is a reputable software author but just to be safe you should Google them & the product to see what the general consensus is re. this.
Also, whatever you do make sure that if you do decide to get hold of the software that you downlaod it from the author's website or from a source that they recommend/approve. Not doing so leaves you open to receiving software with 'addons' which we know as PUAs...or Potentially Unwanted Applications...and the name sort of explains the reason that I mention this.
