Welcome to the Community Forums.
Usually the easiest way is to check the notification tray area and look to see if you have the WSA icon showing therein (Green Circle with a 'W' in the middle). You may have to check by clicking on the UP arrow in the area just in case the icon is 'hidden'.
Also, you should have a Desktop icon (generally create vby default on installation) but I prefer the presence of the icon in the Notification area.
