Is Webroot scanning my whole computer?

Webroot is scanning my computer in less than 5 minutes (Today about 40,000 files). AVG used to scan 2 or 3 hundred thousand file and take 1 to 2 hours. Why? Are there settings I need to change, I looked but don't see any.

Hello JRS514,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

Yes Webroot is unique and scans your files the way it is meant to be.

Pleaase look here :Webroot has.: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/Scanning-PC-suspiciously-fast/m-p/... also the Webroot WIN Cloud does all the work not your PC: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php

Also here is the PC User Guide for scanning and changes.

Kind Regards

Thanks Sherry. Quite often when we use something new it's difficult to comprehend the vast improvements in quality and performance.
