Is webroot unecessay on windows 10?

Windows 10 prompted me a message saying that there is no need to install a protection software since Windows 10 has a protection software built-in. What Webroot has to say about this?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
 
Whilst technically what has been said is true; Windows 10 comes with WIndows Defender enabled, it is also true to say that comparing the protection provided by this and that from WSA is like comparing chalk & cheese...there is no real comparison as the latter is immesureably better/more powerful and provides better protection.
 
So, IMHO, your best approach would be to install WSA (give it a trial if you do not have a license) whilst disabling Windows Defender (we can provide guidance on doing that) and see what you think,
