I am trying to download the latest version of Java script. I am unable to do so because my Webroot is identifying the java download as a threat. Why is it doing this and how can I download Java?

Hello toms313, welcome to the Webroot Community!

If you are trying to update from a 'third party' site or download link, that is the reason: such downloads often also will try to include other 'trial' or 'extra' software which is being blocked by WSA.

Please make sure you only update Java directly from the source here: https://java.com/en/download/index.jsp  During the process, make sure to UNCHECK all additional or option software.

I hope this helps!
