just bought the anti virue and can't use use it, it says my"subscription is expired"

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Can I ask where you purchased Webroot from, what version you have (Anti Virus, Internet Security Plus, Complete), and whether or not this is a BestBuy version of Webroot?

I was able to locate both a trial and new keycode in our system.

Please click the gear icon next to "My Account" and enter the keycode sent to your email there.
