Kevin from Window Support in Nevada told me security programs stopped working. How do I find & fix?
I had a malware detected message pop up that told me not to pay bills on my computer. The message said to call an 866-519-4419 number. Kevin told me that security programs stopped running. I ran a Webroot malware scan & it fixed 20 issues. Does this mean that my security programs are now working again? Please help.

The pop message, etc. is a SCAM and should you ever see this again then you should certainly not call the number provided or pay any heed to the message. No reputable company sends emails, pop ups, or phone calls of any kind advising that you may have a problem.
You certainly did the right thing by running a scan, and letting WSA handle what it found. Is the fact that it found something linked to the message? That it might be is conjecture and in my opinion it is most likely coincidence.
