Answer
Long pause after booting before I can do anything in win7.
It takes about 4 minutes before I can do anything in Windows7 after a re-boot. System loads, desktop is there, but when I click on anything - either nothing happens or I get the little spinning hour glass. My modem lights are flashing like a network connection is being made and after the modem lights go off, my system workd again. This all started right after installing Webroot AV. Is there anything I can try to make this better? Why would Webroot stop my system from working for that long of a time?

Since installing WSA, have you completed a complete scan?
It rather sounds like you have the settings set for scan at every bootup, though I am not sure. While can are generally well under 2 minutes, some situations can make the can run a bit slower. Take a look at the settings:
Open WSA
Click on Advanced Settings at the upper right
Click on Scheduler in the left pane.
In the right pane, check what "Scan Frequency" is set for, and if it is set for "Scan on Bootup".
