I’ve noticed there have not been any updates to the Mac OS version since late 2023. Does Webroot intend to continue to support Mac OS, or is the product on life support only?

Hello @LTH651

We haven’t heard much about the Mac Client I will ask @TylerM if he’s got any news for us?

Thanks,

Hello @LTH651

I am the Lead for the Consumer Escalations Team. May I inquire what resource you are basing macOS updates on. Is it by chance the following webpage?

https://www.webroot.com/us/en/support/support-consumer-release-notes

If yes, rest assured, despite the lack of macOS activity, we have been updating the Mac agent. Our current version is 9.6.4.85 for Webroot SecureAnywhere and version 1.1.0.6 for our new Webroot Total Protection product - https://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/total-protection

The page has been brought to the attention of Product Management and Support. We plan to update it and implement enhancements to our release notes ensuring up-to-date information.

Additionally, publicly shareable updates from our teams are posted on the What’s New page of the community forum. We are evaluating if development can leverage the page to help supplement our release notes.

Hello @aharon1986 and nice to meet you!

I post what I can find at the time: https://community.opentextcybersecurity.com/product-releases-25

Thanks,

Hello @TripleHelix

Yes, Support is looking into the resources we can leverage to update our release notes page. Understandably, it may take some time to fully update the page for macOS and Mobile but we are confident it will be completed.

I appreciate your mention of the Products Release page. It is a good resource and I’ll discuss with Product Management during our weekly meetings if more participation on the page is a supplementary path.
